Writing Your Manifesto
A manifesto plank is a public policy commitment attached to your candidacy or party — a way to signal where you stand beyond your raw political compass position.
Adding planks
From your candidacy or party management page, add manifesto planks describing specific commitments (e.g. "cut business rates," "expand public transport funding"). These are visible to voters browsing your candidacy or party profile.
Why it matters
Manifesto planks don't have a direct numeric effect on votes, but they're the main way other players understand why you hold the issue stances you do — useful when you're trying to attract endorsements or convince voters your platform is coherent.
