Refund Policy

All sales made through DPS Politics are final.This applies to paid tier subscriptions and upgrades, one-off and recurring party donations, and political appointments, whether purchased for yourself or contributed to a party's treasury.
This page explains how refunds work in practice. It should be read together with our Terms of Service (Section 6), which is the governing legal text if the two ever conflict.
1. Paid Tiers & Subscriptions
Subscription charges and one-time tier upgrade charges are non-refundable, including for any unused portion of a billing period. You can cancel a recurring subscription at any time from your profile or the billing portal to stop future charges, but cancelling does not refund amounts already paid.
2. Party Donations
One-off and recurring donations to a party's treasury ("war chest") are final once processed. Donated funds become part of the receiving party's in-game treasury balance and cannot be withdrawn, transferred back, or exchanged for money by you or the party.
3. Political Appointments
Where a political appointment is granted as part of a paid tier or a separate purchase, the purchase is final. Appointments are in-game recognitions tied to your account and have no value or standing outside DPS Politics.
4. No Cash Value
Citizen Capital, party treasury balances, tier benefits, and any other in-game currency or resource have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, redeemed, or cashed out for money under any circumstance — regardless of whether the underlying balance was earned through gameplay or purchased or donated with real money.
5. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects any statutory right to a refund that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
