Party Treasury & War Chest Operations

Every party has a treasury — a shared pool of funds separate from any individual member's Citizen Capital.

Funding the treasury

Treasuries grow from member donations (see Donations & Political Appointments for how Party Donor status ties in) and can be viewed on the party's public profile page.

War chest operations

Leaders and treasurers can authorise treasury spend on:

  • Media Blitz — a broad boost to the party's public standing
  • Smear Campaign — targets a rival party or candidate
  • Subsidy — grants funds or a momentum boost directly to one of the party's own candidates, on top of an endorsement

Each operation has a decaying effect on party/candidate swing over time rather than a permanent shift — treat war chest spending as a way to influence a race's trajectory during a campaign window, not a one-time permanent buff.
