Welcome! DPS Politics is a persistent political simulation — you play a citizen who can take stances on national issues, join or found a party, contest a parliamentary seat, and influence the nation through petitions and votes on live national events.

Your first few minutes

1. Pick a constituency on your profile — see Choosing Your Constituency.
2. Take a stance on a few issues to start shaping your position on the political compass.
3. Check your Citizen Capital (CC) balance — this is the currency that powers campaigning, endorsements, and party operations. See Understanding Citizen Capital.
4. Browse open petitions and national events on your dashboard and cast a vote — most actions earn you a small amount of CC.

Everything else — running for a seat, founding a party, spending on campaigns — builds on these basics.
